FEATURES
The OT drums can be perfectly stacked and palletized. The 28lt and the 60lt models are very easy to handle thanks to the two handles (or cavities) on both sides. The galvanized steel closure ring can be sealed in order for the content to be inviolable. Upon request, the drums can be personalized with different colours and/or with embossed logos on the body. MATERIALS
The Open Top drums (OT) are produced by extrusion and blow moulding using high density- high molecular weight polyethylene (HD-HMW PE), mixed with UV stabilizers. The suitability for food contact must be clearly requested in phase of order issue. HOMOLOGATION
The whole range of OT drums is homologated for land, air and sea transportation of dangerous solid products (powders, granulates, pastes, etc…), according to ONU law and RID/ADR OMI/IMDG OACRI RTMD regulations. VERSIONS
The whole range (excluding the 220lt drum) can be equipped, upon request, with a lid which has a 2" hole in the centre (which allows the filling of the drum without having to remove the lid) and a T-S/Z cap with oleo phobic membrane (which allows a two-way venting without product leaking thus avoiding both the swelling and the implosion of the drum). OT drums are produced with the newest axial and radial control systems which allow an optimal distribution of the thicknesses and grant good resistance at mechanical stress (compression and drop test).
